I'm a software engineer who likes owning a problem end to end, from the model to the hardware to the interface someone actually uses. At Lockheed Martin Space I lead C++ and Python flight software: link testing and telemetry, the embedded Linux it runs on, and on-board ML model serving on FPGAs. I also built the navigation stack for an autonomous rover. On the side I co-founded NexusOdds, a sports betting analytics platform with nearly 1,300 lifetime paying customers.

  • Own the Yocto Project builds of the custom embedded Linux images that run on flight hardware.
  • Drive on-board model serving with Ray Serve, quantizing models and running multiple models concurrently on FPGA boards.
  • Architected an autonomous rover navigation stack in ROS2: 3D SLAM with LIO-SAM, a tuned Nav2 for motion control, and open-vocabulary object detection with text-based waypoints.

Projects

Rover Path PlannerPersonal project

An interactive 3D lunar rover dropped onto unmapped terrain. It maps the ground from a stereo camera point cloud, feels slopes with an IMU, plans with A* in a Web Worker, keeps its wheels out of no-go zones and backs out of trouble. Below it, an x-ray model shows the avionics and wiring inside.
